You can pre-purchase the pistol sampler package to test fire 15 concealed carry style pistols during your scheduled range training. These pistols are in 22 lr, 380 AUTO, 9 MM, 40 S&W, 45 AUTO, and 38 Special.
You'll be able to shoot 2 shots per gun. You'll receive a list of the pistols to take notes while you shoot them.

We have an A-MAZ-ING opportunity on our range that we call the “Sampler Pack”. It is a $50 (plus tax) add-on that allows you to shoot a variety of different guns in a variety of different calibers. I think it would be the perfect thing for your wife to do during her range training with us to help her get a feel for what she likes. People ask the question all the time of what gun they should get. And our answer is that we can't tell you that. Nobody can tell you. The person has to TRY guns to know what they like. My best advice is to not buy her anything before the training. Let her come and use your gun or use on of our .22lr pistols. Then have her do the Sampler Pack Add-On.
How it Works
It doesn’t replace the regular range training. You’ll still shoot your own gun (or one of our borrowed .22lr pistols if coming without your own).
The Sampler Pack is additional shooting that you would do the last half hour of the range time. (We make sure people who bought this go first for the regular shooting so that they are freed up to do their sampler during the second half.)
We give you a sheet of paper that has the names of all the guns you are shooting and space to make notes next to them. (You keep this paper for your records so you actually remember what you liked/didn't like afterwards when you are gun shopping.)
An instructor will be working the Sampler lanes to assist you and answer your questions as you move down the lanes trying all the different guns.
There will be 4 lanes you work your way through. The first lane has 3 different .22lr's, the next lane has 5 different .380's, the next lane has 4 different 9mm's and the last lane has a .40, .45 and .38Special.
You will load 2 shots in each gun, fire them, write down any notes you want to make and then move to the next gun.
How it Helps You
Trying all these different guns for $50 can really help you narrow in on what you like and don’t like. This will make the gun shopping process so much easier! And it will help prevent you from wasting money on a gun that you later realize isn’t right for you.
As you try out these 15 different guns, you’ll get to experience different features (grip safeties, lasers, short trigger pulls, long trigger pulls, different grip widths and sizes, etc) and also different calibers (.22, .380, 9mm, .40, .45 and .38 special). Imagine trying to shop for a car and not knowing what features you are looking for.
The Value
They don’t let you try guns for free like they let you test drive cars so the value of the experience is simply amazing! Think about all you'd have to pay for to go to the range and replicate this experience on your own:

~$10 rental on each gun times 15 different guns -- $150ish
a box of ammo in each of the 6 calibers costing $20ish each -- over $100 just buying ammo
Honestly, it stumps us why no one else offers anything like this. It's such an amazing value add for students whose next step will be gun shopping.
Which Guns Will I Shoot?
The guns that we included in our sampler pack are some of the most popular guns being purchased for concealed carry. We didn't just randomly choose 15 guns. We methodically thought through what we should include to make the experience meaningful and helpful to the students who choose to do it.
The Well Armed Woman surveyed their members to find out what were the most commonly purchased guns by women in 2019. The results of that survey validated that what we have in our sampler pack is a spot on representation of what people are buying, especially ladies! Here are the results of that survey:

#5 - Glock 19 - Great gun. Super popular. But it's a little large for concealed carry.
#8 - Glock 43X - We have the regular Glock 43 in the sampler (#3 on this TWAW list) but not this 'slightly larger 43X version.
#10 - Sig p320 - Kind of like Sig's equivalent of the Glock 19. Also a great gun. But a little large for concealed carry.
The Sampler includes shooting guns in 6 different calibers. It is weighted to have more .380 and 9mm options since those are what most people choose for concealed carry.

How to Purchase
If you know you are going to do it, I recommend purchasing it before your range session. The Sampler Pack can be pre-purchased on our website shop.armed2defend.com. If you pre-purchase it, it will be ready for you at check-in at the range and your instructor will already be alerted that you bought it so they prioritize having you go first for the "regular" shooting portion.
It can also be paid for by cash or card on the day of your range session. However, your instructor might not be able to have you go first on such short notice and that might mean you have to stay a bit past the scheduled end time to finish up the Sampler.

We created this experience as a solution to the problem we saw of people showing up to our classes with guns that weren’t right for them.
The guy behind the counter told them it would be the perfect gun for them.
Or their nephew who is in law enforcement told them it was what they needed.
Or their dad..... or neighbor..... or whoever!

Everyone has opinions on what is right for you. But you have to actually try guns to know what you like. Plain and simple.
